Coffee has told general Muslims first in the middle of 13 centuries, and it have spreaded to Mecca, Cairo and Damascus.
The oldest coffee shop "Kanes" was built at Constantinople (Istanbul) the middle of 14 centuries.
The shop was particular about furnishings, and decorations, so customers felt comfortable.
It won popularity as a sociable place.
After that, coffee shops increased in Turkey, and were accepted by diverse class people.
The more popular the coffee shops became, the more luxurious it became.

Merchants ,travelers from various countries and lord chancellors who searched for government services, young men who aim at judge, and the Prime Minister's officers visited coffee shops, so it were called "school of wise person".
Although coffee won popularity, there were arguments for and against.

The origin of coffee have two theories which are “Origin from Ethiopia ” and ”Origin from Arabia”.
